How to ask for 12 Android testers without burning your friends

Family and iPhone friends are a fragile recruiting channel. A public board lets you ask developers who already have Android devices.

Most indie launches stall on the same awkward ask: “Can you install my half-finished app for two weeks?” Friends hesitate. Some only have iPhones. Others say yes and disappear.

A public board changes the audience. You are talking to people who already understand closed testing, Group invites, and rough builds. The ask is reciprocal, not a favor vault.

Keep the post concrete: what to test, how long to stay installed, and what “done” means. Skip daily launch requirements unless a mission truly needs them.

When someone helps you, help them back on a clear deadline. That is how you fill twelve seats without draining the same three people every release.
